Our thoughts are with those who lost their lives in this heinous tragedy.
As a long standing property professional, I'm calling for the resignation of the UK Housing Minister Alok Sharma - despite the unprecedented and unnecessary deaths of the property occupants.
How can the former accountant recover from this. This role requires a property professional not a person with no housing or construction knowledge, respect those who lost their lives and their families by appointing a properly qualified housing minister?
- Why was the flammable materials ever allowed to be used in the first place?
- Why was Grenfell tower block insured by a non U.K. Insurance company?
- Why did building control sign off these buildings?
Surely the housing minister has some responsibility?
THESE QUESTIONS NEED TO ANSWERED
Time and time again I've said about the licensing of Building Companies like in other parts of the world. An unnecessary loss of precious human life - this could have been avoided!
